​St. Paul's Ministry Teams

Please contact the church office if you are interested in joining any of our ministry teams.

  • Cemetery Committee – St. Paul’s is fortunate to have a cemetery for our members to consider as a place of eternal rest. Our Cemetery offers “perpetual care” which means we are tasked with maintenance and upkeep of our graveyard and it’s surrounding areas.  We also handle record keeping and help with burial planning.  If you are interested in helping out, please let the Committee know.

  • Child Care Ministry Team - The Child Care Ministry Team is responsible for the work of The Upper Perkiomen Child Care Center.  Specific duties include: meeting with eh Director on a monthly basis, monitoring the development of the UPCCC, assisting with special needs or activities, visiting the center and talking the the staff on a periodic basis, reporting on plans and needs to the church council, and building positive relations between the center and the church.  Clearances are required.

  • Church Council – The Church Council is populated by a congregational election.  If you have an interest in helping to lead St. Paul’s into the future as a vibrant and growing faith community , please see the Pastor to discuss running for this important team that helps St. Paul’s continue to be a wonderful place to worship.

 

  • Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Team – The Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Team is responsible for nurturing life long learning and discipleship among all ages.  Specific ministries include Sunday School, Confirmation, Adult Bible Studies, Children's Church and both Youth Groups.  The ministry team meets the 2nd Sunday of each month at 10:30 AM and encourage anyone interesting in helping to foster faith formation and growth to join.

  • Finance Ministry Team – The Finance Ministry Team is responsible for the oversight of all financial matters of the church.   Specific duties include: balancing projected receipts against expenditures or maintain fiscal integrity, oversights of memorial gifts, endowment funds, capital campaigns, designated funds, and reserves, development of annual ministry budget, securing of annual audit and providing information to the church on the status of finances and how gifts are being used.​

  • Gift Development Ministry Team - The Gift Development Ministry Team is responsible for implementing a year round stewardship emphasis for the church by helping people recognize their gifts, encouraging the use of those gifts to develop the church ministries and seeing how their gifts contribute to the spread of the Gospel and the difference it makes in people's lives.

  • Leadership Team - The Leadership Team will consist of the Pastor, Church President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

  • Outreach and Communication Ministry Team - The Outreach and Communication Ministry Team is responsible for making the Gospel known to our church community.  Outreach includes focusing the needs of the people in the Upper Perkiomen Area and beyond and the well being of the people in the church.  Communication includes publicizing actives and events though various avenues.

  • Resource Ministry Team – The Resource Ministry Team is responsible for the care, protection and maintenance of the church buildings, property and communication systems.   Meets on the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 PM.  Do you have special skills in repairing and maintaining property?  This may just be the group for you.  Consider helping out with meeting our specific property related needs.
     

  • Worship and Hospitality Ministry Team - The Worship and Hospitality Ministry Team, in cooperation with the Pastor and Director of Music Ministries, is responsible for the planning of all Sunday, Special and Seasonal worship services.  Attention will also be given to providing welcome to all worshipers, assistance to any special needs of worshipers and the recruitment and training of all worship and hospitality ministries such as worship assistants, ushers, alter guild, choirs, bread bakers, etc.
