Sunday Worship

Worship at St. Paul’s is central to our mission and includes a variety of opportunities growing out of a rich faith heritage. The choice of worship time and style provides worshipers with the opportunity to be nourished in God’s gifts of Word and Sacrament.

The 8:00 AM Communion Service (added to the Sunday schedule in 1992) begins the Sunday morning worship time with an informal celebration of Holy Communion. Early risers gather around God’s Word and Sacrament before beginning their day.

The 9:15 AM Praise and Worship Service (added to the Sunday schedule in 1996) is a 45 minute service of Holy Communion and utilizes a variety of contemporary instruments. Keyboard, electric guitar and drums provide musical support as worshipers gather around the Lord’s table and sing new songs of praise. The children of the congregation gather for the first fifteen minutes of opening worship and then proceed to individual classes for an educational hour following the children’s message.

The 10:30 Communion Service utilizes a traditional musical setting.  Holy Communion is celebrated in a more formal setting around the altar rail. Special music is also offered throughout the year.

On special occasions we will schedule a combined Sunday worship hour usually at 9:15 AM.  Please check the “notices and updates” located in the sidebar of our website.
